So he gave the sub to me, its either a 15-m3154 or a 15-m3124d. Its it perfect physical condition except white dots from somthing, which will whipe off, and a small scrape. I dont have an amp to power it, or a box for it yet, so i will let you know again. He gave it to me without me giving him the money telling me to test it for a while first.

M3s are pretty nice subs

they make recone cartridges for em which is basically a basket and all the softparts for if you ever fock it up

and they tend to be pretty durable

500rms 800max but they can handle alot more than that

if u ontly got it for 50 thats a ****ing steal

they hit the lows pretty nice too

how much? i might be able to scavage up some cash idk....but i was woundering, i was looking at the pictures of the m3's, and I notice they show them with and orange basket. but my basket is chrome....sorry for no pics, i cant find my cam, but i will post some.....so now idk if its a m3 or not

I run 2 12" M3s ported and have a JL 500/1 going to each. Great steal for 50 dollars, you just need some RMS to push it!

there was, as far as i know, never a chrome basketed M3

what color is the emblem

if its an orange basket with M shaped spokes with a colored dustcap its an m3 or a mojo

grey basket with M shaped spokes with grey duscap and plastic covered cone = m2

normal chrome basket + colored or grey logo = PR (pre 07)

grey m shaped spoke basket with a duscap that covers the entire surround = post 07 PR

black with street thunder dustcap = street thunder

SHP = basket shaped like a BTL only orange with colored cap

HPO = basket shaped like a mach 5 maw with colored cap

edit: there was a gold plated M3 thou

Old pr rated at 200 rms. youd be safe with 500 clean watts.

yeah, they say 200 but when both of mine are hoooked up theyre gettin 250 each and ive given one of em 500 before
