1.6ft^3 for each 12" L5 is very small...should be around 2.5-2.75ft^3 each.

smaller box = less output and the peak moves up in the frequency range instead of staying closer to the actual tuning frequency.

I really would be out of luck because I'm still questioning the fact that my current box may not fit in the maxima. It'll be a stretch to go bigger unless I had a board cut out (fiber-glassed) for the trunk.

I had that box.Not a nice box, but itll get the job done if you are really desperate.

EDIT: I would still do a single sub or smaller subs.

That box will fit easy... ..the trunk in the max is pretty decent sized.

No need for smaller subs or a single sub. (even tho that box isnt ideal)
