i have a dual 2ohm sub and i have it wired to 4ohms so i tested the ohms on it with a dmm it was reading anywhere from 4.1-4.4 is that about right

also i was reading that with the dmm hooked up to the back of the box terminals not directly to the sub

also i have another sub thats rated i think 2 or 4ohms but its reading like 10 on the dmm that means blown right

If the coil is open it will not read anything on the meter.

Did you touch the leads together before applying them to the sub? Do that and subtract that number from what the coils read and you will get your answer.

they should probably be closer 3.4-3.6 actual impedance.

mine read about 1.3, it's wired to 1 ohm. You'll get added resistance, so it sounds about right. The one that reads 10 has something wrong.

uppp and yea when i touched the ends together read .3-.4 so my sub is right around

3.7-4.0
