12" H2, 12" kicker solox S12X2, or 12" RE SX? For spl's sake with decent SQ. assuming all were sufficiently powered and in a similar install which do you think would be capable of putting out the highest SPL without sacrificing ridiculous SQ. thanks

also how does the 12" XXX factor into this. someone please help me out here

12XXX = best mix of output and sq out of all the woffers afformentioned. 12 solox will get the loudest with a large ported box, but have terrible SQ. the rest will prolly be loud, but not as loud as t he XXX\SoloX... RESX will be louder than the XXX (by a tad) but wont be as good in the SQ dept.

i would look into a 15 if your aiming for SPL. a 15sx or XXX will kick your ***. but your gonna need 800~1000w (for the sx) and maybe 1500w~2000w for the XXX... and prolly 1500w~2500w for the solox - and some big ported boxes.

^^^^^ agree with what req said, except i dont think the solo x will have "terrible SQ"...

I honestly think Orion H2's have the best SQ of the subs mentioned based on sealed applications I've heard

I hope this contributes to the thread rather than taking it off topic awinter...

just how good is the SX's sound quality, in a sealed box, with around 1000w going to it? What is it on par with?
