12" Fi Q or 12" TC-2000

Im looking to order a new sub shortly but im not sure what to go with. Im trying to decide between the two in the title. Which ever I choose im going to be giving it around 11-1200w. I would like to be able to wire it down to 1ohm if I need but id like to be able to have it wired at 2 sometimes also. Any advice on which to choose? Thanks.

You're not going to be able to get a sub that can be wired at both 1 and 2 ohms, you have to chose which one before you buy. If it were me, I would do the TC-2000. I have no personal expirience with TC Sounds, but I have heard great reviews about them, and also FI Car Aduio too.

I thought you could change around the wiring to get dif. ohms. Guess I was wrong..anyone else have any opinions on which is better if I run at 1 ohm?

you CAN run the wiring differently to get dif ohms, but that wont work in your case.

Dual 2 ohm sub can be wired to ~ 1 or 4 ohm

Dual 1 ohm sub can be wired to ~ .5 or 2 ohm

eh, you could find a quad coil sub, it could be possible to wire those to both 1 ohm and 2

So if im only running it at 1ohm, which sub would you guys choose? Im looking for about 50/50 SQ/SPL.

The TC2000 will give you SPL just a tad shy of what a Fi Q will but the SQ will be out of this world. My vote goes for the TC2000.
