I bought these and then when i took my boxes out of my truck, i dropped one and busted it pretty good. Since I have to rebuild anyway, I'm doing a single 12" ported setup.

These subs have not even come out of the packaging. I paid $280 shipped and I'm hoping for $250 back. I go to school in Ny and live in Maryland so I'll drive anywhere around there or in between (Nj, De) to try to avoid shipping costs.

Will accept trades for 1000-1200w rms amp, OR

Fi Bl, Q, SSD

I've never heard of that (i dont know much about car audio) but i will look into it. I have really been looking for a Fi 12 but we'll see. I am headed out the door and won't be back till tomorrow evening so i won't be getting back to you right away

It's one of the classic "internet brand" SQL motors. TC SOunds built woofers for a bunch of different companies. The older Eclipse Titaniums, I believe the original Stereo Integrity Magnum, The SoundSplinter Rl-p, some Sunfire Audio stuff, and quite a few others. Very nice sub, all-black motor, black basket, black cone, carbon fiber dustcap, double stiff spiders. Good for around 1200w RMS power handling. Will provide a very nice sound, but has the potential to get pretty loud as well. This one also has a relatively shallow mounting depth at ~6.5".

any chance you could find out from him? I'm really picky about specifics when I build my systems.
What are you trying to achieve by the way.

He builds quite a few of these, and I had it built over a year ago, so I doubt he'll remember. I'm not really trying to achieve anything. I just have a case of caraudio ADD,lol.

I can get specs for you probably, but somehow I doubt knowing the specifics about where he got the coil or whatever will sway your opinion

Specs:

Revc = 1.4987 ohms

Fs = 27.8046 Hz

Qes = 0.3320

Qms = 5.5769

Qts = 0.3133

Le = 1.3924 mH (at 1 kHz)

Sd =48168.8790 mm^2( 74.6619 in^2)

Vas = 45.4528 L ( 1.6051 ft^3)

BL = 13.6893 N/A

Mms = 237.5983 g

Sensitivity= 86.4357 dB @1W/1m

Sensitivity= 93.7095 dB @2.83Vrms/1m

The Revc is wrong though. Those specs are from a different woofer, but Dave told me that my driver whould have basically the same specs.

I can't really tell what other parts Dave used other than the motor. I would be willing to trade you one of the Diymas. Sorry if you already told me but how used/old is your sub? The Diymas are still in the package, untouched so no worries there.
