12" CVR or 10" L7

No I dont really have to get kickers but I didnt know what there was out there that would be better for the money. I have a Power Acoustik 2400db. Its rated at 1800 rms at 1 ohm. But I think its more like 1300-1500 rms.

you could get audioques. It's what I have in my signiture. They're just like DD's but cheaper. You can give the 1800 watts you have to a single 10 or 12 if you wanted. Look at my sig. I'm giving my 10" AQ 2.5k daily

I would say so. Not to mention sound a lot better, be cheaper, and be much better subs in general. Not sure if you're familiar with Digital Designs and Audioque but they have great products and great customer service. Guy that owns Audioque, his names DJ. Go check out the website and send him an email with any questions.

Definatly look into them because like I said great products great price and great people over there. Just thought I might help you because theres better subs than kicker out there that dont cost you a lot. And you might want to look into the FI subs.

Yeah I was thinking about buying some 12" SSD's a couple weeks ago but then I got to thinking that my box wouldnt be big enough to port so I started thinking about getting 10's. But ill look into the audioques some more. Thanks

there's always better, and obviously always worse.

with the space issues you have, and power, and depth, I don't think to will work, I'd look back again the CVX, or Fi's, you would probably be better doing smaller sealed, over larger ported.

i say go with a cvx... i have a single 12 cvx wired down to 1 ohm n im giving it 1100wats daily and it takes it like nothin... it bangs like a son of a biotch and ony in a 2 cube ported tuned to 35 htz i will post a vid if u want

ya l7's **** majorly, my friend blew his 15, 3times, with a kx600.1, he then switched to a cvx and hasn't blown one yet, and i set the gain and everything so it wasn't distortion.
ok whatever, go with a L7, i'll stil say they ****, the first he blew it the surrond ripped in 1 corner then spread half way around the sub, the second time the cone cracked, and the third time the coil froze. i've nevr knew distortion could cuase a cone to crack but whatever.
ummm your friend sucks at bass. He should just give up.

I have a 15" L7 on a 2kW amp. I've burped it at 2kW (Remember its RMS in a ported box is 750w) for 10 seconds and it didn't even start to smell. It's a tough *** sub.
