HD3 I have my single 12 in 1.5cubes tuned at 40hz and about 3500rms (4k+) on tap and it sounds amazing I will take a vid soon, but there are already plenty of you tube vids on hd3 woofers watch some of them. An last 36-40hz is where you want to stay on an hd3. My single 15 sounded good at 36hz with 3k if that helps any, and good luck with your purchase.

I never said my HD3 wasnt spectacular, re-read that thread, I said the score wasnt great, but with 1200rms and no testing/tuning time I couldnt expect much, but since I have added power it has done obviously nothing but get LOUDER and LOUDER, and yes I am running it currently in 1.5cubes AFTER displacement tuned at 40hz

Depends on the power, I have talked with jeremiah numerous times and to me he is the audioque guru he has done the most with them, and used them the most, he said this box would be loud, and sure as SH*t it has been nothing but loud, and with this amount of power it doesnt even get hot, I actually cant wait to drop it to 1.2cubes AFTER displacement and hopefully watch that score push into the 150db range, with 4k.

that would make it WORSE considering the vehicles sweet spot its 49hz! Plus it sounds great at 40hz on rap/r&b and lastly when I tried 2cubes at 38hz with 2k it didnt do anywhere near what its doing now, so that I DONT NEED TO TRY AGAIN.
