The dual 1 copper coil version. Yes, its the same box but i added a spacer on it to convert the hole to a circle. Yes i know, thats a little ghetto. lol

Which basket do you have? Depending on that would change my suggestion for tuning and enclosure sizes a bit.

AQ's recommendation is 2.25ft3 with 36in2 of port area and tuned around 33hz

Considering the AQ recommendation is/was also my own I would stay close to that.

Newest version of the HDC(which you have) have larger spiders and lower FS. The excursion is also increased over last years model.

Im not sure if this is right but didnt aq recommend somewhere around 1.8 - 2.2 cu ft and tuned from 38-40 hz? Or did it change because of the newer designs? But like i said, I could be wrong.

oh great, i actually wanted the lower tuning but thought i couldnt with these subs. Thanks man, ill keep that in mind. Im going to have someone build me a box for two of them.

okay, i dont get that smell anymore. I went to the aq website and adjusted my amp to how they tell you to adjust it. It actually gets louder now and no coil smell at all.
