12" alpine type r and two amps

im a newbie and i have a question that maybe stupid. im looking at the swr-1242d and i have two amps. one is a rf punch 500s and the other is a sony xm-2200gtx and i was wondering can i hook one up to each vc safely. they each put out 500wrms @ 4ohm mono. here's the info-----

he don't have two and he ain't getting mine(the punch 500). so he's just gonna have to deal with one

Those really aren't the best amps and I dont know if they're going to put out their "rated" power...

Because its like trying tp put a geo engine in the back of an chevy 3500 and a honda v6 in the front. It just doesn't work.
