12 CVX or 12 W6v2?

Originally, I planned on 2 12w6v2's for my next setup, but after reading some good things about the Kicker 12 CVX, I began to wonder if the JL's are really worth it. You can get 2 CVX's for the price of 1 JL! I plan on powering them with a PPI PCX2200 in a 1.25 per chamber sealed box. Im mostly looking for SQ. Would it still be worth getting the JL's for SQ? I listen to a wide variety of music, but mostly rap. Has anyone heard both?

the W6 is a purely SQ sub, the CVX is not....if you want SQ, get the JL

it's a toss up on what you want...i'm sure on a pure sq basis, the w6 will sound nicer...it doesn't really need more then ~750rms too

but if you got 1500 to 2000 rms, throw those on the two cvx's and you won't be disappointed with the sq and there will be a huge smile about the spl...

x2! The CVX's have pretty good Sq to them as well. I would do the two of those off the amp and you would be in heaven!

2 Cvx 12s on 1500rms-2krms will make you happy have good Sq and pretty crazy spl.......

i say get the cvxs and i kno cvxs get loud and have sq for a fact i have owned them

if you get cvxs sealed put them in 3 cubes and ported put them in 4.5 cubes 35hz
