Since the RE 12.1 didn't work out I'm on the hunt for an amp again. My goal is a clean amp with a reasonable damping factor that puts out between 1200-1800 rms at 1 ohm. Will most likely be powering an SSA Icon 15 or Fi Q 15 at 1 ohm. I know as far as dollar per watt goes the PPI BK1800.1 is one of the best, but until it can be proven to do rated, clean, with a reasonable damping factor I will dismiss it as "too good to be true". As far as electrical goes I will have the big three and two AGMs, can do more if needed.

As of now I'm looking at this Crescendo:

Crescendo Audio Symphony S1500.1 - 1500 watts x 1 Mono Block Symphony Series Amplifier - SSA STORE

But I don't like the vague description.

I'm also looking at this NVX, at the influential opinions of EXO and Sonics video of it Dynoing well.

NVX JAD1200.1 1200W RMS Class D Monoblock Car Amplifier (JAD12001)

Any opinions are welcome, thanks in advance!

might as well get a 2k amp on it, not like those subs cant handle it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
That's the truth, any good ones to be found under or slightly over $300 though? Plus, isn't that where I have to do more electrical upgrades too? So much money...haha

I bet u dimes to donuts the ppi does more power cleaner than the nvx aq1200 and the nendo..for 200 bux
I'm fine with that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I just don't have any proof of it and in the world we live in "too good to be true" is a very valid thing. Just need some proof.

I know that is a fantastic amp on so many levels but I'm really wanting to go new this time around. Had two used things from good sellers not work out now, thank you though.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Hope it sells, it's a beaut!
