1080p? 56k not welcome

A comcast booth had a split screen sample of 1080i vs 1080p. To me the difference required concentration to find.
this is tru from what i have heard...

i guess it depends more on native resolution so say if one display is

1,920x1,080 i vs 1,920x1,080p

it will look the same unless you look really really closely. like standing inches away

now

1,920x1,080p or even i vs 1,280x720p

then you will be able to tell the difference so basiacly 1,080pvs720

but alot of displays with 1,280x720p with that native resolution can accept 1080i

that is where that display versus a display that has 1,920x1080p will be a big difference in picture quality

so pretty much dont look at what your tv say oh it does 1,080 i or 720 p

look at their native resolutions.

of corse 1,920x1080p vs 1,920x1,080p the p will look a tad better but just very little

1080p looks better when i freeze framed and compared head to head, (compared to 720p, which as said is hard to tell the difference between that and 1080i) but 720p and 1080p compared to 480p is huge difference.

oh, and syko, you can stay here, but you won't have any idea what that link shows (other than just trailers.)
