today was the day to be productive and spend some time deadening.....

havent done this in 2 years, and i remember now why i hated it so much....slow, tedius, messy work (not AS messy and glassing, but still messy....for me at least)....

stripped off the panals, cleaned up big chunks of crap laying around, vacuumed, wiped down with acetone, re-vacuumed....then began the process.

1 layer in the spare tire well, 2 layers where it comes up and the box will lay

2 layers on the walls leading up to the roof

2 layers on the back wall by the hatch, 2 layers on the hatch

2 layers on the roof.

pics......

could this be raammat???

WHY YES it IS raammat

home made roller, worked great for the roof and other flat parts

forgot how much crap accumulates in my well over time.....

cleaned up nicely...ignore the holes and great stuff, that was an old attempt to run wires through some holes in the metal and use gorms and great stuff to brace it...got alot of hate for it, i call those people the "fans" of my work.

after the first few hours..... tip of the iceberg done...

raammat is ALSO a great source of fiber, little did yall know.....

lil shot for the fans

hang around, still lot more pics coming

hatch door before....

hatch door after.....

started putting the right side panals back on before i remember to snap a pics...but all is done exept the roof.....

roof before...there were some carboard/foam gimics on there...ripped them off and scrapped thier adhesive so it'd be nice and flat so the wave coming down that roof would travel easier

looks quite a bit differant than before if i dont say so myself....

another angle ( i like this shot)

what do u get when u mix stepping on alot of deadener goop in the well, pollin, and bare feet?

ewww...

and, the oh so sexy woofer

noooooooooooooow.....back to go put my roof liner back on and call it a day.......

Nice work jay...but that foot is NASTY, lol.

My woofer is sexier though, you'll see...

EDIT: And bring that handle in the second pic tomorrow, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Power tools, alcohol and a build day...

pants were VERY ruined.....by the tim ei realized i forgot to change into shorts it was too late...so i wore them to the end and they were destroyed. those ants will be missed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

all in all it cost me about $225 shipped for the deadener, a roll from rick and another partial roll from the classifieds...

thats about all the pics i took, wish i had more....but scott and i DO have some pics of a build today. we did part of adriean (727kid)'s box for his 2 BL 12's.....and my new daily box for my 4hp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i got a few shots on my phone but the better shots where on his phone, scott will probly chime in sometime soon lol. load up some pics

man, sawdust eeeevvvveeeerrrryyyywwwhhhheeerrrrreeeeee gawd dayum. but a fun build none the less. for now its just sexy mdf and a small sign that says "hearing protection required" with a lil spray paint back drop. soon enough there's be a plexi window showing the motor's sexiness with 1 or more lights inside the box illuminating the motor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
