I Ordered the wrong amplifier for my sub. I bought my friends sub, before I bought it he told me it was a 4 ohm sub I get it and I come to find out its a DVC 4ohm. So I need to sell this amplifier. Here are the specs:

Max Power @4 ohm 2 x 320W

RMS Power @ 4 Ohm 2 x 160W

Max Power @ 2 ohm 2 x 500W

RMS Power @2 Ohm 2x 240W

Bridged RMS @ 4 ohm 1x480W (4ohm Minimum)

umm if u got a dvc 4ohm sub just connect the back 2 slots with a negative speaker wire then use the front 2 to wire to the amp, you will get your full power at a 2 ohm load..

no that would not work. You would have to run it at 8ohms. You would only get 240w rms.

He is right. That would be run in parrallel, giving the amp a 2 ohm load. The amp would actually see a 1 ohm load bridged and that is probably why it is not recommended to do that.
