1000 watts too much for a stock camry???

About a week ago I decide to sell my 2 infinity perffect 10s to my roomate. They were in a 3.0 cu ft box tuned to 35hz. I decided a 12" type r would be a good choice to replace the perfects. It gets louder and sounds better than the 2 perfects but I think in the near future i want to add another 12" type r.

Would just the big 3 be good enough for a viper 1200.1 wired to 1 ohm? The car is a 2000 camry btw.

And for reffrence when i had the 2 perfects wired at 2ohm recieving 350watts a piece i never experienced any headlight dimming. The power and ground are 2 ga I believe.

big 3 n a good strond bat n u should be fine... I ran stock electrical and bat to a jl 1000/1 which i believe pulls alot more current than a viper

i have a bx1500d @ 1ohm on a stock electrical in a 89 buick, no big3, stock grounds and i dont dim at all

In my buddy's 94' (I think?) Camry it is.

big 3 is never a bad thing to do jus a great idea when skeptical in situations as these

The only way to tell is to get a digital multi-meter and do some readings. Yeah your lights might not dim or maybe they dim very very lightly and you can't really notice it but the only way to tell is to take some readings and then follow the weak link in the chain.

You could get buy with 4 ga... 1/0 is never bad ...
