1000 watts @ 4 ohms

I'm lookin for something that can do about 1000 watts rms @ 4 ohms, and doesn't need to be stable at less than 4 really. Does such a thing exist for under $200?

I'm really looking for something to run an 8 ohm MJ 18, so needing 500-600 at 8 ohms. Any suggestions? thank you

I"m looking for something like that too. Would it be a better choice to just wire dual 4 down to 1 ohm and find an amp stable at 1 ohm?

Still looking if anyone has a suggestion, I'm willin to drop maybe $100 more if its stable at lower impedences, but still needs to do ~1000 at 4 ohms

Man i remember the day when a 1000 watt amp cost $1000.00. A dollar a watt was a good price. Go to the classified section. Cause at 200, even if made in china its going to be hard to find an amp to push 1000.00 @ 4 ohms new.

you can get opti 500x2's for around 250$ and they do pretty close to rated if not more.

I had an MTX 942 that would do just under 1000 @ 4 on 12 volts, believe it did over 1k on 14.4.

i sold it for 125 i believe...should look into them.
