1000 Watts - 2 12's?

Alright guys. Yes, he is set on two 12's. I tried to convince him into one 15", but he says he doesn't have the money for a nice box. He wants two 12's sealed. Somewhere between 200-300 for both.Ebay has two RE SE's for 300. I don't know where to get the M3's, or the price range. Any other options?

If you r freind is just gonna throw these subs we reccomend into his shitttty Xplod box we are all wasting our time, they are gonna sound like shit and he will wish he had bought MTX

If he has 5-600 dollars tottal spend $350 on one 12" or 15" or even 18"sub and builda box with the left over cash $250

Fi Q 18" is only $309 and you can spend 300 on a box for it, even a single Q on 1200 watts is gonna punish those Explodes in out put and murder the SQ.

Your forgetting an amp. He has 5-600 to spend on box sub and amp. And I'm not an idiot, I have told him that if he throws them in the prefab box it will sound like shit.

He is going to get RE SE's, with a Hifonics 1606 probably. Throw them in the prefab until he gets a new box. The prefab shouldn't be bad though - it is sealed and two cubes, exactly what the SE's want.
