10" TC Sounds TC-1000 Enclosure reccomendations?

Have been searching all night but have had no luck, Does anybody know the optimum enclosure size (sealed & Ported) for the 10" TC-1000 it's the silver cone single 4 ohm version..

You have 1 or 2 of them? I just took out mine - 2 TC-1000s, dual 4 ohm. About 3.5 cu ft tuned to 34Hz. It was pretty perfect. Got very low, very musical, and very loud. Take my advice on this though - I know these are 400W woofers, but throw 1000 clean watts at it and it'll shine. I've emailed TC sounds about powering these after buying and they said you can do up to that power each. So for a single...do about 1.75 cu ft, tune to 34Hz. Don't worry about tuning it lower, this thing will get down there.

I have pushed a lot of power through my tc subs but I would not put 1000 to one tc 1000. It is a nice and rare sub and not worth risking for no real purpose.

From experience, its low end really shines with more power. To each is own though.

Yes will have to do a box and find a smaller footprint amp that will do rated at 2 ohms

Oh has to have a small footprint?
