10" Subs ? Newbe Here

I have a 99 Grand Prix 2 door. I would like to get 2 audiobahn 10" aluminum10n seriers. I was wondering what size amp i would need to power these things..I just want a nice sounding system. Nothing hi tech. If anyone else has suggestions of other brands please let me know. But i like the audiobahn..If someone could just try and help me out I would appreciate it..Thanks...Also what kind of box..Sealed,,ported, or band pass.

audiobahn look flashy, but sound like azz.

Okay so whats a good sub then..I would like to get a pair for under $200 bucks...I want to spend about 400-500 total on amp and subs...???? Maybe not enough..or just what you htink?

Mach5Audio MAW-10 maybe, would not need a big power amp to get them loud.

good suggestion. also, if you are not going to build your own box, go sealed. i would suggest building your own even if it is sealed, but the only prefabs that'll sound decent without complete luck is sealed.

at least he was looking at bahn's best sounding series. I had two of the 12's a while back and I actually enjoyed the way they sounded. But yea x2 on the assassins

The Assassins look great...Whta big differences will i get between 2 10's or 2 12's..I mean Is there going to be huge difference. And also will these things give me some good low bass...What Amp woudl you go with for these..I may buy?

what about the Tc sounds db-500 hear is the link http://www.tcsounds.com/db500.htm it has a 150 ounce high performance TC2 motor and 2" voice coil, and up to 2” peak to peak excursion all for $99 this might be the best bang for your buck sub out ther at leest that is what it looks like on paper

assasins- 700 watts x 1 @ 2 ohms

Okay when that says 900 watts @ 2 ohms x 1 channel..Is that saying its goin to put 900 watts to one speaker, or will it be 450 watts to each? So taht would not be to much power for the assassins?
