10" pvc vs steel ports??

Hi, I finally found someone who makes 10" ports but he uses steel to make it. What would be the difference between the steel and pvc? Would I hear a sound difference?

As long as it isnt too thick and you properly brace it, I dont think it will be much different. But Phoenix has a point, it could make some noise.

if they are steel, I can't imagine that they would be thick.. I want to say that they would resonate if they aren't thick too. Are they flared?

I find sono tube works fine. Considering cardboard doesn't flex I can't see steel giving you any trouble. Ppl don't seem to understand the strength of a cylindrical shape with evenly applied preasure.

Steel ports and flares will work fine.

i bought some from psychoacoustics. And if ur worried about them

making noise or somthing wrap them in deadner.

Depends how thick the steel is. If its of a decent gauge I dont feel like you would have any problems.

If you are worried, coat the whole thing in bed liner or plasti dip or something.
