10" L7 vs. 10" L5

well if you blew the l5 with the power you have then it is obvious that you should upgrade to the l7 to handle that kinda of power

No...you will no notice a huge difference.

L5s are very capable subs.

they are good subs but the l7 is your better pick.

i would go with the L7, but if you have the L5 right now, its not worth it to buy the L7 if you can just get the L5 replaced

Make sure the sub is getting a clean signal. I'm running quite a bit more power than the L7 is rated to handle and my coils are still reading the same as the day I got it.
