10 8's

There is SVC 2 ohm and DVC 4 ohm RE8s. I have the SVC version... I'd suggest going with the DVC version. I have no clue how to run the wiring, but make sure you get about 1500w ***RMS***. Peace

for wiring 10 subs you couldn't just rely on memorizing, which is what a lot of people do (i.e. with 1 or 2 subs, DVC or SVC, parallel or series)... you'd actually have to sit down with a calculator and figure it out, plug into the equations and such.

if it were me, i would get svc4 ohm subs, wire them together to seperate amps, maybe instead of 10, make it 12 or 8 for ease...

that way you could get 2 4 channel amps, or 4 2 channel amps, and only run them at 4 ohms...

or you could wire 4 together to get 1 ohm, then get 2 400~600w monoblocks stable at 1 ohm, and hook each set of 4 to each amp.

much eaiser than getting a single big amp - and prolly the same cost. im sure you could get some quality amps that are class D that do 600w with no problem.

thats just my 2c tho.

i would use 1 amp just because if not u have to have the settings on both amps exactly the same or its not going to sound right.
lots of newer amps are strappable with a little rj interconnect cable that makes the second\third amps slave amps and they match the settings to the first.

so theres no playing like you think. just gotta buy the right amps. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif
