1 X-15 vs 2 AB XFL 12"s?

XFLs. Heard 2 do 154 in a wagon. Very impressed.

the pair of 12s would be better. the little xfl and the hd series from americanbass are simple but yet again great subs.

I would do this as well. Two XFL's would hit mid to high 140s in a low tuned box and they actually sound pretty good (i've demoed a few XFL builds and the sound good, especially for the price and considering how loud they get).
X series is good but I don't believe they are ideal for daily drivers (they are a lowend monster that fizzle in the mid to upper bass). As a result the X series that are more daily driver orientated have the SPL cone (you can have sundown custom make it with the SPL surround, it will shine better in the 40-65hz range which is good for daily music).

Yeah I'm thinking of keeping the X-15 to mess with inside and put the 2 XFL in my tahoe. May even get 2 more eventually and do 4 XFL 12"s but not yet. Gotta get a custom enclosure for the first 2. Anyways those XFL POUND because in my old car they not only would flex windows in stores when I was out front but also broke my rear window off of the motor regulator. They where in a mobilesoundworks prefab enclosure and underpowered still so yeah I'm sold on them.

the thing with those yard sales is you get what you pay for. everything on the yard sale is a defected product. that's why they sell them so cheap

it was in the yard sale for a reason. you probably couldnt find what was wrong with it, whatever was wrong with it was very minute

There are lots of woofers that pass QC that make it to the Yardsale. Most of the loose pallet woofers are just used and people traded them in for new woofers. So yes passed QC but are just used.

wrong. Some of the Zv4's that were listed were from before they started making them in-house and using the bolt down surrounds. Ordered mine and it was one of the older versions. Not one problem with it besides the older surround.

and also, Sundown does a trade in program. The equipment they get goes straight to the Yard Sale

Yes prly crazy mark ups. I'd love to know how much Jacob pays for a zv4 18 and then howmuch he sells it for. Prly buys it for 300 and sells it for 600. But cost money to run a business. Got bills,overhead.
