1 vc blown, can i still use?

my subs weren't playing as loud so i checked them out.. turns out on one of the subs the voice coil is blown(dmm says 0 ohms)

the other is still good

my question is can i still use the sub?

what would 2 2ohm dvc wired with one sub only using 1vc yield imp wise?

I dont know, but Ill guess 2 ohm. If your only wiring it up to 1 vc and that 1vc is 2 ohm then its 2ohm. I dont know if you can do that but what do you have to loose?

Don't do it. You would be changing the T/S parameters of the sub.

if it is thrown in the trash or used with slightly different T/s, i say go for it.
