1 shiva vs. 2 w0's

alright its down to 1 shiva or 2 w0's, both 12's both off of a profile 450 watt amp. what will difference be in spl and sq? also would it be worth the extra 125 to get an extra shiva to run off of that amp?

2 shivas are worth it imo.

Two shivas are worth the money, but I don't know they're worth it with that much power available. If you're going to need dual 4 ohm coils then you might want to look into something comparable (which there are many similar drivers around the same price) because the shivas, as stated before, only come in dual 8's.

Shivas definitely. If you don't want to get two you could get an RE12 or two...I don't think they're quite up there with the Shiva but are pretty darn good.

If you only wanted one I think they come in dual 4ohm

With a single shiva you could always port it ya know

I did this exact swap a couple years ago. 1 Shiva inplace of two 12W1's (Superior driver to the W0 IMO) and the owner couldn't be happier. The difference in SPL was nearly inaudible and the difference in SQ was night and day. Go with the Shiva.
