1 sa 12 or two vvx 8's?

both would be in a ported box the sa-12 is in a 1.58 cubic foot box after displacement tuned to around 33 hz and is powered by a dx1000.1. the vvx 8's would be in a box built to specs and would be powered by the same dx1000.1 and tuned to around 31 hz. i'm looking for what would be louder and get lower. i know the 12 has more cone area but not by much but the two 8's would have more motor force so i have no idea what would be better. thanks for any answers

have you gotten the subs yet? if not, id deff.go with a pair of tens in a mustang,or three 8s..pair of tens will be perfect in that car ported..ssa subs

that 12 should be better than those 8 if you can swing 1.8-2.4cuft ported box,but a pair of tens would be better in my opinion..i have always liked 10s,always came back to them.they can bang pretty good with right sub enclosure,and power..of course any sub, but..i think that 12 will be better than the 8s,if those are your set choices.

how do you think a couple of skar vvx 10s will sound in an enclosure that'll be a little too small for them? they'll be underpowered also but i'm hoping it should be good enough for now but if the 10s will sound good i would do that. max enclosure i'd wanna do is maybe 2 cubic feet

sorry man was checking replying to a different thread..well check out the min req for the subs ported on the tens...can you go say or get like 2.4-2.6cuft total? you shoulb be able to go ported with the 2.0 cuft fot the tens, but if you can go/or get closer to 1,6 per chamber, they will perform awesomely. .i have never had any issues with running %50 rms power to any sub,been/be least id run though,have ran
