1 or 2 15 L7s

I have been lurking the site for awhile now and have learned alot. Anyways I am starting to get my new system together. Im debating whether to do one or two 15s. If I go with one it would go in a 4.5^3ft box and if I go with two I can prolly go as big as 6.5^3ft. I will tune either box to the recomended frequency. Either setup will be run off a planet audio vx2200. Which setup will get louder? What should I tune the boxes to?

What's the specs on that amp? I am biased for 1 sub setups. They save space, and with the right amp/box will hit just as hard as two being powered by the same amp/same enclosure.

I believe that this amp is overrated. I am unsure though.

I have mine in a 9 cuft box tuned @ 35 and it's very loud..

It murders the lows...

It will be goin into a mercury sable. I have heard that that amp does closer to around 2000-2100 rms. Unfortunately I dont have 9^3ft to work with or I would love to have a setup like yours.

With that power i would honestly go a different route than the L7.
