1 ID12 or 2 RE10 ?

Hello, This is my first Thread... I'm from venezuela and don't speak very good english, but I will try to explain the better I can.

Sorry for writing mistakes.

I'm getting a new car, and I'm looking my best options in Subs. Actually I have a simple system 2 components and 1 Sub, Infinity 1050W...

For my new car I'm thinking Diamond Components Front, Diamond Coaxials Back, and the sub.... ???? here's the problem.

I don't want to spend a fortune, and save some space.

My actually options are, 2 RE RE10 or 1 ID12D2V.3... the power is not a problem because always buy good Amps, Alpine, MTX, JL, Zapco, but I want at max 400RMS in Subs.

Also read about the ED 9Kv.2, but I don't know.

I think any comment will be apprecited, Including new options, Thanks

Of the three you listed, I like the ID the best.

I extracted some numbers from HT BBP

RE10: Vd at Xmax(12mm) = 0,386 liters x 2 = 0,772 liters

ID12D2V.3: Vd at Xmax(17mm) = 0,927 liters

I saw some diference, but really the Volume displacement tells me how loud the speaker go, or what ?

Also please, consider the Boston G512

Vd at Xmax(15.3mm) = 0,759

What should be the difference between ID and Boston...

pero los RE subs son buenos tambien

Al parecer la mayoría coincide en los ID... Tu al parecer conoces muy bien ID.

Entonces que me dices sobre esto, con un ID12 crees que logre mayor SPL que con dos RE10.

Aparte me gustaria saber que opinas al comparar esta configuración con 1 Boston G512

BTW...I do recommend a ported 12" IDv3 over 2-10" sealed REs

For the 12" IDv3: 1.75 cu ft tuned to 28-29 hz...about the same size box for 2-10s in a sealed enclosure
