O.K. need some input on my install. 1ST off, goin with kicker because of price and efficiency. Sub budget is 175$. Is the quality of the cvx better than the cvrs? this is the set up either the 2 cvr 12s or 1 cvx 15 will go in. 5 cubes net. 64 inches of port tuned to 38hz. 600 rms @ 1 ohm. in the hatch of a matrix. I cannot afford an amp change so I need a 1 ohm load. I donot want a power hungry sub like a type r, or something that has the ability to get really loud. I just want as loud as possible on my amp and still sound decent. I currently have a aq sdc 10 runnin @ 2 ohms off my amp gettin about 300rms and it sounds clean and gets decently loud, so either of these kicker set ups should seem way louder to me. I have had a aq sd 2.5 15 in the past but they only come in d4 so wont work on my amp. Any kicker help would be appreciated.
