So, its begun. Got all my new **** installed and Im already wanting to go bigger, power wise...

Now, Im not such ina rush to do this, however, I will be ordering my mechman here in a week or two for peace of mind.

Now, onto my question: How much power can 1 270 alt and 1 xs d6500 withstand for daily abuse? I want to full tilt at idle without worry of draining the batt so much my car will not start.

Distant future plans are to either upgrade my sae1200dv2 to a saz1500v3 OR a saz 2500 depending on how much the SA 12's can take daily. The reason I want just 1 batt is because I don't have anywhere to put and second without it looking all sloppy. My box going from wheel well to wheel well, and pushes flush against my back seat, which is what I want. I live in an apartment so fabbing some wood up is out of the question.

Thoughts?

How much power you can get at idle depends on the alternator itself and the amount of power the electrical system of the vehicle consumes, but if I had to guess I would say roughly ~2500, that is fairly conservative
