1 18" Fi Q ported or 2 sealed

which one would be louder/hit lower. The ported box would be ~8 cu ft, the sealed would be ~4 cu ft for each chamber.

ficaraudio.com says 4-8 cubes for sealed, 6-10 for ported.

1 18 would require half the power of 2 to get about just as loud in a good ported box and itll be hald the intial investment

30hz tuning should kill the output on the lows of the 2 sealed

that also usually yields a round about 3 db gain

and so does doubling power. but its not always going to be an exact 3 db

If u have that much money to spare why not go with a higher power handling sub like the BL or even the BTL and do 1 ported with a KX2500.1?
