SO i have a brz2400 amp , 2400 rms at 1 ohm . which would get louder. Can get hfi 12's for 33.99 A PAIR shipped lol. 300 rms each so 8 would be 2400rms. i might just order a pair to play with for $33. i would imagine that shipping has to be half that so like $8 a sub.

haha reading a little on the hfi's ill pass on the 8 12's but i am ordering a pair to mess with, think i would be disspointed going from a solo 18 to hfi.

The HFi's will take ~400-~500WRMS of clean power. I had 2 of the older HF series on 800+WRMS and they did great. Never got hot, didn't fry coils, ect. I'd take the HFi's over the BTL, if you have the room for them.

This, If you got the space 8 of them are going to get loud no matter what. Especially versus 1 18. They should also hit the lows pretty good beings theres 8 of them. It'd be a fun project for sure. Kinda got me thinkin haha.

Cheaper on vminnovation link i posted. that 33 shipped per PAIR . The amazon link is $38 shipped for one

I am ordering the pair , ill play with them and see how they are, then see if i might want to go with 8 of them. Not sure i have the room, In a 1999 4runner and only behind the rear seats. The solo x box is about as big as i can go and if i remember right around 9-10 cubes internal after port and sub displacement.
