1 15" FI or 2 10" alpine type r

What would hit harder? 1 15" FI SSD dual 2 with my 1000 watt alpine amp or what I have right now which is 2 10" alpine type r's with the 1000 watt alpine amp. I was wondering if its worth the money to upgrade to the 15" if I am keeping that amp?

the 15" SSD has a wee bit more cone area, but both setups will be very comparable to one another

With the power u'd be throwing at both... its really a toss up. I'd say the 15 is a better choice since it'll be more musical. If you were to up the wattage on the type Rs, then i think they can be louder.

I would gladly go more with the SSD, reason being I had a 10" ssd and hit pretty hard with 350 watts pushed it it only. But then again i never tried out the alpine type R's that is just my opinion.
