1 12" XXX or 2 12" SE-both ported

its goin in a honda prelude and i will be buying the amp to match the sub setup that i choose. the xxx would be ported at 2.1cu.ft. (reccommended) and each SE would take 1.8cuft recommended ported each totalling a 3.6cuft box. this would take alot of my trunk..keep in mind. id assume that one xxx would kill 2 sealed SEs, so if i go with two se's it will be ported. how much can u get a xxx12 for? what is the recommended box volume for the 12" XXX? and how much watts do i run it at?

wait what's the question...how much is it? search it man like four bills. didn't you just state the recommended box volume for the xxx? ported it's 4cu ft (i believe) and either way the two se's should get louder than the xxx (should if both apps are ported)

recommended for the xxx is 2.1. ill put it in up to 2.5cuft due to space restrictions of my car. i ruled out the option of 2 ses due to the size and i ruled out 1 se due to its lack of sufficient power. im gunna go with the xxx. does anybody know how much a 12 xxx will cost? and how much power should i run to it?

Most people seem to be happy with 1200-1500w

It's still less than a 12W7... And (arguably) sounds better.

Go to ebay and look up orion and look at an xtrpro1000D for $249. If that is too much then look at JBL1200.1, or a Directed 1100D. There is a lot of choices between $200-$300.
