09 Scion TC HU?

Is the factory Pioneer Scion hu worth keeping for a sound system are do you guys think I should up grade to after market. Has anyone delt with this before?

is decent but the car is set up perfect for an aftermarket dd so just get a nice pioneer like the 1400dvd or the 2400bt

Is there any decent Alpine dd that don't cost out the butt cause of the Gps if so what models would like to find a alpine dd touch screen.

Well the car is rated most reliable car in its class and its all in how you drive it

You can always get something like an Audiocontrol EQL, keep the stock HU and still get great sound.

this is an option ,, but why not upgrade to dd dvd with blue tooth and HD radio for under $450 installed Ipod control sd card nav ready sat ready etc..........

and there is an alpine option but paying for the name more than the product/features

I agree upgrading the HU is the thing to do. The factory stuff, even the Pioneer branded items are of little value. What to get is your decision, just sort through based on what options you wan/need.

Mine is 2010 and I got the "upgraded sound system" and that HU just doesn't do enough to provide me with a good sound. I upgraded to a DD Pioneer and it was day and night. It was the avh p3200dvd unit.

Depending on how much u plan to do with your system, youll have to choose a HU with the features u need.
