The just aren't good for daily drivers. Box requirements are fairly large, they take 3k to really get moving and since you can't buy direct, the prices are very high. They are nothing like the old XXX's. They are nice drivers, for sure, but very impractical.

i've seen one. Actually 1 of the 1st ones shipped. NOT practical for sure.

They dont need THAT big of a box. Ryan Autry's 12" sat nicely in his Teg, 2.x cubes after displacement I think. Sounded so sweet for just a single 12. Uber Lows!

I find that really hard to believe.

My XXX is louder than any 12" woofer I have ever heard, I would think that two of them could certainly hit mid-high 140's. I am selling mine not because I am unhappy with it. I have really enjoyed having it and slumping it, but I want more SPL, and when I can trade my 1 12" '06 XXX for 2 15" '05 XXX's, it's definitely worth it.

No its true, its completely true. SO uh, what are you saying exacly? They are lowend monsters. have u sat in that truck? it sounds absolutely amazing. Lowend means no bueno scores.

the truck sounds great, it just doesnt have that fart bass that gets the note the mic likes in a SPL show, but it sounds **** good.

my MX only hits 146.XX but it sounds real nice

i heard a 12" in like 7 cubes, it was in their store, barely moving about 1/8" and filled the entire store with loud azz bass

^^^^ The way it should be. It doesn't take a 7 cube box with alot of vent much cone movement to generate some serious output.

I don't know about crap, but that truck is seriously loud. Ask anyone that's heard it. Sure it doesn't tickle the Mic like other vehicles, but it wasn't built for that.

very well said. I am expecting mine soon...but i have the large box required and the power required..if not done right of course you wont get the most out of it. Do it right or dont do it at all.

EDIT: I want to edit but not my original post, really after reading what you said again I think they dont make a practical drop-in daily driver you must have the what the sub needs and everyone complaining about it not being as loud at higher freq. a sub is just that for your substage, I dont think you should have the sub compensate for a crap frontstage.
