06 RE XXX 12 Numbers?

I havnt heard anything about the XXX's in nearly 2 years. Seems the pizazz has died down on them. What are some numbers people have been hitting with them?

It hasnt died down at all everybody just prefers to use the older XXX's and most people who use XXX's don't really use them for the numbers they put up...

Yeah of course, they arnt SPL centered. But lets be real here, someone has had one metered. Im just curious as to what the score was.

Maybe the people who bought them found out the hard way that xmax doesn't determine how loud a sub will really get and are too embarrassed to post them up?

Okay, lets be real here.... how does people posting TL numbers here, or not doing so, reflect on their performance? Or how would those TL numbers even necessarily reflect on the subwoofer itself? If Cotjones posted he hit a 128bd with one, would we all assume they ****? If Alan Dante posted he hit a 168 with one, would we all assume they are great?
Its a BL optimized driver with a shit ton of excursion, and ... okay... power handling. That should give you a relative idea of the sub's potential. One guy posting some specific but random TL number sure as hell wont be any more informative.

Exactly. I am just wondering what numbers have been posted, that is all. Can a guy not wonder what scores have been brought up by the XXX's? Just curious. I realize it matters on a lot of different factors. Like I say, I was just curious on numbers that people have been posting up, not expecting anything other then an idea, in the ballpark range.

06, I don't know. I have a guy I know that has 2 05 XXX 12's off close to 4k and he is in the high 140's in a trunk car. 85 Regal. Loud as fawk and sounds great!
