05 RE XXX vs RE MX..

I got a 05 model RE XXX i always thought it was along the lines of a BTL just with more SQ and can take some power, but im hearing different from a friend whats your take? I also got a RE MX new model. What you think would be louder? Or overall a better sub and can take my Stetstom 2K5D? Thanks

I liked my 05 RE XXX way better than my MX!!

The BTL and XXX are two completely different subs.

Yup, single 15" RE XXX D2, in a TTB @ 32 hz, I did a 146.4 @ 42 hz

i ran a 15" XXX of a good 1800-1900w. they get pretty loud and sound **** good.

good subs. watch for port noise..
