05 re xxx and new re xxx

ok im not having any luck finding an 05 re 15" xxx so i was wondering if there would be a difference if i ran the new xxx with my old one at same power, running both dual 2ohm models.......... or will that be like running two totally different subs and not be any good? im thinkin it prob wont be good but figured id ask anyhow...

i dont kno much about the newer xxx but they do get loud...but then again so did the old ones...i think the old ons had more SQ then the newer ones

yeah but im wonderin if i ran them together if i would be ok.. or would i get cancellation since technically they arent the same anymore

i wouldnt run them together 2 very different subs

mmk thats what i thought but wasnt sure how much different they were.. thanks guys.. hopefully i will find an older one like im lookin for then.

Correct me if I am wrong here but IIRC the old xxx is xbl^2 and the new xxx is split coil. Completely different beasts, would be a poor idea to run them together.
