IMO, 7.3>6.0
By far.

I also believe that. But after 05 and later when the problems were fixed, the 6/0 produces more power/torque and is a quicker motor. A 7.3 will never beat a 6.0 in a race. Period. With a tuner/exhaust and simple cold air intake you can expect numbers of 400+ HP and 700+ Ft/lbs torque with the stock EGR and Headbolts. Doing anything else other than that, i would strongly suggest the EGR delete and head studs which was the main problem in the 03-04 first runs.

Do you know which one. An 05 would have the better 6.0 but the 7.3 is always a dependable option. 6.0 is an excellent motor 05 and later.

Its a 6.0PSD ('03+), ford cleaned up the majority of the 6.0 problems after '04, even after that they still had problems w/ EGR coolers, and coolant puking, which head studs and egr delete fixes. Then they ditched it for the 6.4, which, with the release of the new 6.7, obviously wasn't good enough. Hopefully they'll keep it around for awhile, strong motor out of the box, w/ tuning it'll be a monster

Clean lookin truck, can't wait to see the box when its done.

Already is a monster, i believe one of the diesel magazines reported on a tune to get like 200+ HP and 300+ ft lbs of torque out of it, i havnt had the issue in my hands so i wouldnt know for sure yet. Correct me if im wrong, but wasnt the 6.4 also a powerstroke which was international built so maybe the release of the 6.7 was just Ford getting giddy with their own in house motor. My stepdad has his EGR delete kit ready to go in his 06, i prefer the 03 turbo though because its louder because of less veins i believe. I still want an OBS 7.3 Powerstroke. Best years in my opinion.

They make some hotter tunes than that for the 6.0's, but its not out of the box, they're custom tunes. Yes you are right the 03-04 VGT's were 8 vein (new are 9). The 6.4's made stupid power on just tune alone (dpf delete included in tune) there were some dyno runs in the 5xx hp mark on fuel and chip alone. Hopefully we see some nice improvements over the 6.4 in the 6.7. I do like the OBS's though, nothin like the cackle of the AB code injectors

Hopefully dodge comes out from the shadows soon and gets that Cummins back up on top where it belongs

Ok update time.......................

So I was working late on the console the other night and I had just laid my last layer of glass down and I went to bed. Got up the next morning to go take some pictures and when I opened the door I noticed that it had rained while I was sleeping.

I went and checked the console and it was destroyed :running to the corner crying with a box of razors: So I had to start all over again. FML

Anyways, I talked to the customer and I am making a few changes to the new design. Mainly adding some cup holders to the console...............
