really didnt see a dealer goin that much lower. did you find it on the internet. because that is probly the lowest they would ever be willing to go if you did. walks in and such would most likely get a higher price. and as for insurance, a guy a new that was lookin at new cars bought a mach 1 over a cobra just for the reason that the insurance on a mach1 was the same as a normal gt.

ok i found an 06 gt, pretty much brand new....its either that or a mach 1.

what do you guys think now?

the 06 gt cost 38k new, guys selling for 21. (friend of ours so we trust him)

Just to clarify:

stock 5 speed mach 1 on mustang dyno = 299.9 to the wheels and 307 torque.

go withh te mach 1. For one, it will hold value better than 06 GT. For 2, little faster than 06 GT as well. You can supercharge it, they have a P1-SC kit that will work good. Mach 1's have a 10.5: compression engine compared to the 2001 cobra which is 9:1. cams in mach are for low to mid range, no need to be for top since it will spin high being DOHC. I ran a 12.96 stock with mine hehe, 34 miles on dash and not broke in. Everything is great about it. don't have to worry about any stock camaro's hehe. In 1/8 mile, mach 1 is tad faster than 03/04 cobra, but cobra makes ground in 1/4.

what do u think an 04 mach 1 with 12k miles is worth? dealers askin 21,500....(this is a differnt one than the yellow one i posted in the 1st page)

Mach 1 > '06 GT IMO

You must be one hell of a driver then...all the stock ones I've seen have been mid 13s.

just came back, with tax and everything, they want 21,700....its an 04 with 12,148 miles.
