02 Cavalier Z24 - trunk and subs

Hey guys,

I'm helping another friend with his new subs and was wondering what you guys have fit into cavaliers. We went out and measured today, but still looking for some examples from everyone else.

And any news on the big 3 for it? The alt is on the complete opposite side of the car - didn't look promising.

It looks like we have 4 cubes to work with. What would you guy's recommend to get loud and sound just decent off of about 1000 watts?

What are you guy's experiences with cav's? I have 0 and any advice is appreciated.

I had a 2002 cavalier coupe and I learned the hard way is to make sure your box will fit the weird truck opening shape. Mine didn't and I ended up taking out the passenger seat and sliding it into the trunk from the front. The box was 4^ft but it was really deep so it didn't make the angle into the trunk. Car was fairly loud since the rear seat folds down. Might look into some deadening material also as mine rattled terribly around the rear deck and trunk area. Here are a couple pics that might help you out. Have any more questions let me know. These are 12" alpine type s subs with 3" diameter aero ports.
