my distro block has one 0 awg input, and 3 4 awg outputs

is it alrite to have 4 awg wire for the input and 2 4 awg outputs

or 1 4 awg input with a 4 and 8 awg output

would the current still be the same

i have a 4 awg input and 2 8 awg outputs on a distro right now, i am thinking of changing, which should I do?

if you are confused still reply and i'll explain better

thanks

u could get away with 4awg in, n 1 4awg out with another 1 8awg out.

however, runnin a 2awg in, with the two outputs above would be better.

You always need the same input as output. Either that or the input should be larger. The ground should also be just as big as the input.

I think you should get 2 gauge in and run the 2 8gauge out with the 4 gauge that you are using for input now as another output.

By the way... where did you get that block from i have been looking for a 0input with 3,4gauge outputs for a while?
