Ok, I know there are a lot of car audio junkies out there who just can't afford stuff because of school expenses or because mom and dads budget is too tight. Many of us have all kinds of goodies sitting around. This is where you can get them for free. In order for this thread to work we're going to need a little generosity.

Rules:

If you request something or receive an item from someone please give back to the thread.

Don't be greedy.

Post the name of the person that gets your item.

New members should offer something before making a request.

Try to offer items that people have use for.

It's free so receiver pays shipping.

When paying through Paypal please add 2.9% + $0.30 in paypal fees. These would otherwise be sellers fees but since there is no 'seller' the buyer should pay this fee.

They guy who wanted this hasn't been on in a few days so I'll put this back up. It'd be nice to have a Free buyer pays shipping section. I've gotten many car parts from a section like this on another forum. It actually has pretty good results. That section got me 4 free door panels among other things to cut for my 7" mids. Theres a tip that might help out someone doing an install. Hardcore racers throw their door panels to the side.
I found a Memphis 2 way x-over in a car I bought model 16-cx25. I was told it works but haven't tested it. It missing 2 terminal screws and the screws that hold the case together. It's also a little scratched. Whatever shipping costs is what I want.

Well for that crossover I would be using it on my soon coming rainbow slx's . I am trying to sell my speakers and anything and everything I can find to be able to power these and go active. I'm on a very limited budget and I told myself I had to make the money from selling stuff I already have to buy everything that I need(4 channel, active crossover, little wiring, etc.) I am hoping that I will be able to trade for a 4 channel and I will probably get some wiring off this thread. All I need now is an active crossover but after buying some things to fix my car I can't find a crossover in my budget. I know I haven't been a member for over a year but I'm just starting out and would have been lost without this site. It would be so nice to have this. I know its not really a sob story or anything, but I figured I could at least try for something I really could use.

Maybe....depends on the amp. If you have a decent 4-channel with a x-oxer some can run high-pass on 1-2 and low-pass on channel 3-4. For example. right now I have my Xenon 100.4 running a passive set of Polk MM6's in stereo(100x2) HPF@100hz channels 1-2 and on the rear bridged to 2 Mpyre 65x's(200x1@8ohms)LPF@80hz. The decks x-over is also set to pass so the amp just takes control. So, basically I don't need this crossover and someone will.
