Ok, I know there are a lot of car audio junkies out there who just can't afford stuff because of school expenses or because mom and dads budget is too tight. Many of us have all kinds of goodies sitting around. This is where you can get them for free. In order for this thread to work we're going to need a little generosity.

Rules:

If you request something or receive an item from someone please give back to the thread.

Don't be greedy.

Post the name of the person that gets your item.

New members should offer something before making a request.

Try to offer items that people have use for.

It's free so receiver pays shipping.

When paying through Paypal please add 2.9% + $0.30 in paypal fees. These would otherwise be sellers fees but since there is no 'seller' the buyer should pay this fee.

Be generous.

Only freebies, no selling or trading.

No spamming/advertising

Take advantage of refs. --(just a suggestion)

You know this is an awesome idea! I commend you on the initiative to start this thread however for this to work properly, in my opinion, if you take something you should give something back. We do these types of "pay it forward" threads on corvetteforum.com all the time. The main difference I see here, and this comment will probably make me very unpopular, is that there are people watching this thread and trying to clean up on everything. That is not the intention of this thread and it kind of upsets me. If it does not apply to you then please do not take this to heart..........if it does then please think about people that REALLY do not have money to buy this stuff. I would not have offered anything had I known that everybody and thier dog was going to jump all over it and try to cut other people out behind thier back using PM. Maybe my perception is not reality and truthfully I hope that is the case, but I dont think so. Take care of each other guys and be a giver, not a taker, at least on this thread.

ive got a headunit ill have to dig out later. cant remember the brand. i do know its a cheap off brand and the cd part doesnt work. it might just need to be cleaned. i found it at my grandpaws after he died. and i think i have some cheap wire and rca's from walmart laying around too. ill have to dig them out and post pics later.

I have a proposal- Going with what Cajun said... people in this thread (I'm not gonna mention names) are getting pretty greedy. I've noticed a trend where one person posts up 3 or 4 items, and someone jumps on all of it. The wealth ain't being spread too well. My proposal is to limit the amount of freebies being thrown out there.

If it's a nice item, like an amp, xover, tweets, mids, h/u or what have you... don't post up all at once. Post one per day or two, because inevitably someone will be like "ZoMg! Throw me the amp, tweets, hu, xover, 4awg, speaker wire and rcas!!11!"

If you're throwing some smaller items out, like ring terminals, speaker wires, some old RCA's or whatnot... feel free to post 'em all up, because splitting up smaller items just isn't economical shipping-wise.

But at the rate we're going, lots of people are out of freebies, and many others will be in the not too distant future.

I have saved up a few, and plan to release them some time next week.

ps. ...And remember... give a little, take a little. I've given away a few items, and I've gotten an amp. Some say I've given more than my share, and I should jump on something else. But, I realize that I've got more than enough stuff laying around, and I don't need stuff for the sake of having stuff. In fact, the only items I have gotten / requested are for other people...
