1 ohm or 4 ohm

I recently purchased a new amp (Polk Audio PA D1000.1) that is stable at 1 ohm. I was wondering if I am able to wire 2 Memphis SA12D4 subs to 1 ohm or do I have to stick to 4 ohms? If I am able to wire them at 1 ohm a wiring diagram would be much appreciated!
