HELP!!! Hello gentlemen. And ladies if you are here as well. I want to put a system in my truck that don't cost me thousands for the equipment, and another 1000 or so to install the equipment. I decided I was going to do the installation portion myself this time. So I'll explain what equipment I'm putting in and hope someone will give me a crash course in wiring it all together. I'm putting a android HU / BT / GPS/ Backup Camera/Wi-Fi and says it supports sub outputs and has a built in EQ. I want to add my own 7 ch EQ, and put a sub amp 1 ch on the EQ, and a 4 channel amp to 4 door speakers front and back, and 2 tweeters front only. I attached a pic of the back of the HU because I don't see RCA in/outs or sub RCA out on the unit. I suspect that the wiring harness with the RCA female ends that is pictured are the RCA plugs. Could someone please look at the pics and read my list and give me a wire diagram mapping the steps I need to set it all up correctly? Please?? And since I'm asking, could some please tell me what the gain and crossovers need to be in what ranges? Thank you for any feedback that can get me thru this. I will also have a separate 12v battery underneath the seat right next to the amps so I am on a separate power supply for the system

Yes, looks like everyhting is done by breakout cabling. So you'll be connecting to those RCAs in the top right of your product picture.

If the unit has a decent EQ, you may want to forgo the outboard, unless you are looking to use it it for two very specific channels or maybe the sub. It can only add noise and a potential headache of troubleshooting.

Be thorough in your testing after setup though. I recently tinkered with a friend's truck that had one of these "Android" (for lack of a better term) head units installed. The EQ acted strange in that it would sometimes accept settings, sometimes not (regardless of what the display showed).
I attribute it to the "off-brand" software that they mash into this stuff.

Also keep in mind that at least 75% of the sound quality will come from the install. I personally have seen thousands of dollars worth of equipment sound worse than a $500 system. Wrong wiring, wrong positioning, etc... Not to mention the damage that can occur to your vehicle. I have seen a lot of cars get burned down due to shotty power wire runs.

1 Channel amp and 4 channel amp will not work together. Mono amp means just one speaker. All of it or the subwoofer. Getting it to low frequencies would be the part you would have trouble with. If you are using it under the seat and want it like the picture there, then high output and small enclosure is the elements in the subwoofer. And not low bass reproduction. So you will be only getting a small enclosure from the subwoofer and high output. Not lower bass reproduction. Meaning this subwoofer hits the midrange frequencies. Crossovers then to this woofer is midbass and not LPF like you may have planned. And those RCA cables are not the correct cables to the subwoofer. It will be modified version of it. Longer. Okay, there's no DVD function to this Android. One last main problem to tackle, those RCA cables to the amp under the seat, will be too long. Those cables are too short. They are meant for factory amps, close to the dash board radio area. Your work then is in calculating wiring and cabling specs. Midbass crossovers and midrange frequencies for the woofers you bought. Here's how a four channel amp will look. In fact, the colors to it are the same replica as your vehicle. The RCA cables, color code it to be in phase. If you are bypassing a factory amp too in your vehicle. Signal wires and speakers wires has to be matched from the factory amp and sub amp to the speaker assembly wires. Speaker outputs.

Well, you just got the biggest brains of all responding to your post. You can't get any better information than what Mitchell has to offer, unless you wish for it to work properly.

Seriously,
Let us know what you are trying to achieve, what car you have, and how much you are looking to spend. Otherwise, we are shooting darts while wearing a blindfold.

Please don't listen to Mitchell Fosgate III.

He's someone's bastard stepchild and he just wants to be heard... DON'T LISTEN!
:ROFLMAO:

Another toxic thread to be avoided, certain advice is suspect to say the least. I have absolutely no dog in the fight except solid advice being on the forum.
