I HAD a Sundown SD-2 12 in my single cab. My D2 took 900 watts+ @ 1 ohm for a while. Unfortunately I blew it and I am saving for a new one now. It was in a custom ported box 2.25 cubes tuned to 35 hz (sundown recommendation)

Stock battery up front. All stock electrical. Sub amp is a rockford fosgate prime r1000.1d monoblock powering 2 sundown sd-2 12's. I have a eBay volt meter wired directly to the sub amp and the lowest I've seen it drop to is about 12.5. When I start the truck the volt meter reads 13.6, but when...

I was giving a demo the other day and the guy in the passenger seat bumped my door lock switch and when he did my subs cut off. I looked at my amp and the RED L.E.D protect light was on. I backed the volume all the way down and it came back with power and played fine. I just don't understand why...

Oh well. It was only $5 so I bought the one that you guys suggested. Now I can just wire it pos to pos. neg to neg. remote to remote right?

How would I wire this? I dont want it on 2-4-7. It says it comes with a pos + and a neg - wires. So I was just going to run the pos and neg from the volt meter to the pos and neg on my sub amp. But it willl be on continuously. So how do I get it from staying on all the time and is that the right...

I'm only going to use it once, to set my gains on my new amp, and will use it to set my buddies system then I'll ship it back, only need it once.

how do people make homemade speaker or sub cut outs? They make like a cardboard mock up, trace it out, then cut it out, how do they get it perfect? Can I use a ruler? Wtf. help lol
