Xtant X1001 Depending on how comfortable you are with a serious amp, in which adjustments and tuning are done directly on the circuit board. If you don't mind a different approach, and are willing to be patient, the X1001 will not disappoint. http://www.xtant.com/html/products/x1001e.cfm

    Jl W7

Uhhhhh, No. Not in any way does cone diameter by itself dictate how loud a driver will be. Cone diameter more directly relates to overall frequency response. A drivers efficiency rating is a better starting point to help determine it's potential "loudness." The enclosure type, supplied...

    Pioneer Amps and Subs?

The new Pioneer Amps are worlds better than the previous years models. A friend of mine has been running his new 760 Watt Pioneer to a pair of the new Pioneer 12's @ 2ohms for the past few months, and neither product has even hinted of a problem. Internally, the board isn't that drastically...

    dynomax mufflers

They sound pretty decent, but they are not that loud at all. A little too quite for me personally. Then again, I haven't heard many people say that the Flowmasters (Typically 40 series) for these cars are particularly loud either. An aftermarket exhuast is going to be louder than stock...

need to do my first oil change in my new car.

I've heard numerous good things about Royal Purple, but haven't ran it as a single overall lubricant in my whole car. As far as the HP Increase, I'd bet it's likely true. Hot Rod did a show a while back where they showed a roughly a 15HP gain on the dyno just by switching all the fluids in the...

need to do my first oil change in my new car.

Are you reading what you are writing? What exactly do you think a Synth-Blend oil is? A mix of synthetic and non synthetic oils. That's what the "blend" is, unless you are suggesting the "blend" refers to pixie dust and the oils.

    Jeep Grand Cherokee 4wd

The main thing you could do is swap out the original Full time 4WD Gear Box with a Select-Trac Gear Box. This way you would still have 4WD Capabilities, but could also drop into 2WD for better gas mileage. It's a fairly common and straight forward swap if your reasonably mechanically inclined...

    Best way to remove OIL

Concentrated Simple Green and a heated water pressure washer. I've been pro-detailing for quite a few years along side my regular job, and that's what seems to melt away the oil and grease from the outside of engine blocks. Same basic common sense application applies as with any chemical.

What do you use to clean your car?

I've been using PB's for a few years now. I don't think I have found a product of theirs that I don't like. Steve is also one hell of a nice guy to do business with!

    Chevy Or Ford?

Ford. They are the only one of the Big 3 that hasn't tried to eat all my cash in repairs or kill me, or a member of my family. I'll be driving Ford for a long time to come. Currently have: 1983 Mercury Cougar SVT 1989 Ford Mustang LX 1995 Ford Thunderbird LX 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee TSI...
